Due to the size of the investment and that Realheart acts within a sector of interest to the Swedish state, the transaction has been reviewed according to the Foreign Direct Investment Act, causing a delay in the payment.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>\u201cThis settlement marks the completion of EIC\u2019s participation in yet another financing round for the continued development of our unique technology. In this highly competitive arena, where only one in twenty applying companies receive any form of EIC support, we see this investment as an important external validation of the company\u2019s innovation and potential.
